The Stuttgart-Ulm rail project association is displaying three new visualizations on 35 posters along the construction fences on Willy-Brandt-Strasse for around 105 meters between Wulle-Steg and the Schillerstraße intersection, showing the area around the station after completion of the rail project.

"We want to show people what the square will look like when the construction work is finished," says Georg Brunnhuber, chairman of the association. "Once the construction site is gone, the view from Willy-Brandt-Strasse to Kriegsberg will be unobstructed, and there will once again be space for leisure activities on the station roof." The association wants to use the campaign to raise people's anticipation for the time after completion, he said. All posters are to hang from Wednesday, February 22, 2017 at the latest.

The posters will be placed during the low-traffic night hours of 11 p.m. to 5 a.m. each of the next two nights. On the first night from today, Monday, Feb. 20, to Tuesday, Feb. 21, all lanes will be available. Only the turn lane into Schillerstraße is shortened. During the night from Tuesday, Feb. 21, to Wednesday, Feb. 22, the lane will be fully closed. As a result, the turning lane into Schillerstraße, the turning lane to the Wagenburg Tunnel and the straight lane above ground will not be available between 11 pm and 5 am. The detour route is via the underpasses of Willy-Brandt-Strasse to the U-Turn at Charlottenplatz. The detour route is signposted.
