Guided tour of the Stuttgart-Ulm railroad project

Thank you for your interest or for taking part in one of our construction site tours.

 

PROCESS

  • Travel on your own to the agreed meeting point or to the InfoTurmStuttgart (ITS) at platform 16 at Stuttgart main station.
  • Introduction to the overall Stuttgart-Ulm rail project via presentation or in the exhibition in the Stuttgart InfoTurm.
  • Allocation of personal protective equipment (helmet, boots, vest).
  • Inspection of the booked construction site area.
  • End of the construction site tour at the agreed meeting point or at the InfoTurmStuttgart.

 

ON SITE

  • Allow 3 hours for the visit.
  • Please be at the agreed meeting point or at the ITS 15 minutes before the start of the tour.
  • The minimum age for participation is 14 years.
  • Pets are not permitted.
  • Luggage (backpacks/bags) larger than A4 (29.7cm x 21cm) is not permitted.
  • Luggage cannot be stored in the ITS during the tour. Please use the lockers in the station.
  • Wearing a safety helmet, safety boots, high-visibility vest (issued on site) and signing the liability agreement and safety instructions are prerequisites for participation in the site inspection.
  • The wearing of long legwear is compulsory.
  • If you are wearing open shoes on the day of the tour, socks are also compulsory.
  • Please make sure you are dressed appropriately for the weather. The safety boots in particular get very cold in the winter months. So bring extra socks and a headband or similar if necessary.
  • Participation in the construction site visit requires a minimum level of physical fitness. Persons who are dependent on walking aids (including Nordic walking poles), for example, are not permitted to visit the construction site.
  • In the interest of the safety of our visitors, we reserve the right to exclude registered persons whose physical fitness does not meet the requirements from parts of the event. A refund of the tour fees charged is excluded.

 

PHOTOGRAPHING AND FILMING

  • Photography and filming is only permitted for private purposes. The publication of images on social networks for commercial purposes is not permitted without the written consent of the visitor service. The guides will take you to suitable locations where pictures can be taken. Continuous filming of guided tours is prohibited. Photographing and filming nameplates and similar technical details is prohibited.
