Visit the heart of Stuttgart 21 at Easter - tickets available from Monday, March 2, 2026 at its-projekt.de

The Stuttgart-Ulm Railway Project Association and DB Projekt Stuttgart-Ulm GmbH (PSU) will be opening the construction site gates around Stuttgart Central Station from Holy Saturday (April 4) to Easter Monday (April 6). Admission is free of charge. Tickets can be purchased from Monday, March 02 at www.its-projekt.de can be booked for the desired date. „Due to the large number of visitors and the space available, registration is also necessary this year,“ says Bernhard Bauer, Chairman of the association. The registration process makes free time slots transparent and visible - making it easier to plan a visit to the Open Construction Site Days overall, Bauer continues. „This is the tenth time since 2016 that we have been able to open the construction site of the new Stuttgart through station together with our partners. In total, over half a million enthusiastic fans have already visited Stuttgart's new landmark on the open construction site days alone. This is a strong sign! As every year, it's worth taking a look at the construction progress and the impressive architecture of the main station.“ This year, the focus is on the modernization of the cityscape-defining Bonatz building, which could not be visited last year. Like last year, the platform hall can be viewed via the future main distribution bridge. There will also be several information stands on the roof of the through station with its striking light eyes, giving a first impression of its future use. A lattice shell, a masterpiece of steel and glass, in the area of the planetarium will also be part of the „open construction site“.

Registration from Monday, March 02, 2026
You can register for the three days via the association's homepage www.its-projekt.de. Around 26,000 tickets will be available on each of the three days, regulating admission for every half hour starting at 10 am. The last admission is at 4 pm. The last access to the distribution bridge with a view of the platform hall is at 4:30 pm. The construction site must be cleared by 5 pm. A maximum of six tickets can be booked at a time and are free of charge as usual.

Open construction site days 2026 (April 04 to 06)
Once again, numerous partners of the project will be presenting their focal points: the Stuttgart Rosenstein urban development project, the state's local transport brand „bwegt“, the modernization of the Stuttgart S-Bahn with the customer Verband Region Stuttgart and DB InfraGO for the Bonatzbau. Employees will be available for personal discussions at around 20 information stands. For families with children, there will be a colorful supporting program with numerous play and hands-on stations. Food, drink, music and attractions invite you to an informative and interesting day on the construction site.
