The Stuttgart-Ulm rail project association, together with DB Projekt Stuttgart-Ulm GmbH (PSU), has opened the construction site gates around Stuttgart Central Station for the tenth time since Holy Saturday (April 4). On the second day (Easter Sunday, 5 April), 28,000 people came to the mega event around the heart of Stuttgart 21, Stuttgart Central Station. „The crowds today were unexpectedly high, so that we were able to let slightly more people onto the construction site than initially planned, taking all safety precautions into account,“ says Bernhard Bauer, Chairman of the Stuttgart-Ulm Railway Project Association, summarizing the second day. „The enthusiasm for the modernized Bonatzbau and the unique through station is impressive. We are extremely pleased with this extraordinary interest and the encouraging feedback we have received from many people on the site. For everyone involved, this is a tailwind and a very special source of motivation for the challenging tasks ahead.“

For the tenth time since 2016, the association is opening the construction site of the new Stuttgart through station together with the project partners. Admission is free of charge. Due to the large crowds and the space available, registration was again necessary this year. Admission begins at 10 a.m. - and then every half hour. The last admission is at 4 pm. The last entrance to the distribution bridge with a view of the station concourse is at 4:30 pm. The construction site must be cleared by 5 pm.

Once again, numerous partners of the project will be presenting their focal points: the Stuttgart Rosenstein urban development project, the state's local transport brand „bwegt“, the modernization of the Stuttgart S-Bahn with the customer Verband Region Stuttgart and DB InfraGO for the Bonatzbau. Employees will be available for personal discussions at around 20 information stands. For families with children, there will be a colorful supporting program with numerous play and hands-on stations. Food, drink, music and attractions invite you to an informative and interesting day on the construction site.

Impressions of the event can be found on the homepage its-project.com and on the association's social media channels (@infoturmstuttgart).
