The Stuttgart-Ulm railroad project association once again invites you to the open construction site days around Stuttgart Central Station.

From Holy Saturday, March 30, to Easter Monday, April 1, 2024, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., interested visitors can view the new station building with the striking chalice-shaped columns, the station roof with the first light eyes and the conversion of the Bonatz building. Experts will inform visitors at around 20 information stands about the progress of construction, the Stuttgart Digital Node and local and regional transport (bwegt) as well as the Stuttgart S-Bahn and Stuttgart Rosenstein.

„It fills me with great joy that, together with the DB Projektgesellschaft, we have managed to make the spectacular construction site around the main station accessible to the general public again,“ says Bernhard Bauer, Chairman of the Stuttgart-Ulm Railway Project Association. „Stuttgart's new main station is growing and is nearing completion. And everyone will be able to get their own impression of it in 2024. The focus will be on personal discussions with the experts and a close-up look at the unique chalice-shaped supports, as this will provide first-hand information. But the walk across the new station roof will also be inspiring. We know from previous events that visitors are looking forward to this very special opportunity with great anticipation.“

The association Bahnprojekt Stuttgart-Ulm e. V. has been organizing the opportunity for citizens to visit the construction site since 2016. This year's event is the eighth, as it was not possible to visit the site in the coronavirus year 2021. In addition to the specialist topics and the impressive buildings, there will once again be special offers for the youngest visitors, making the visit worthwhile for the whole family.

Unbroken influx to the exhibition - 205,000 visitors to the InfoTurmStuttgart (ITS)

The influx of visitors to the central exhibition on all aspects of Stuttgart 21 also continued unabated in 2023. Around 205,000 visitors came to the exhibition tower directly next to platform 16. The view from the roof terrace and numerous interactive exhibits explain the construction measures in a vivid way. With the children's tour and the hidden object picture, the exhibition is suitable for the whole family. The InfoTurmStuttgart (ITS) is open on Mondays, Tuesdays and Fridays from 9 am to 7 pm, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 9 am to 9 pm and at weekends from 9 am to 6 pm.
